Some years start quietly. Others kick the door open. For Impressario, 2026 walked straight in, dressed for the occasion, carrying a very big name on a very big shortlist: EGR Europe Operator of the Year. That makes it award number nine in a story that only started a few months ago, and what a story it’s becoming.

FROM FIRST TRUST TO FULL MOMENTUM
It all began in 2025 with something fundamental: trust. The AskGamblers Certificate of Trust was our first milestone, not flashy, but essential. The kind of recognition that says “you’re doing things the right way.”

Then came another vote of confidence, and another. Shortlists followed. Big ones. Serious ones. Across Europe’s most respected gaming institutions. Before we knew it, the word “shortlisted” had become a familiar companion, and in one case, even a podium finish.
